Yes. Social Security Regulations clearly place the sole legal responsibility for reporting any status change on you or your representative payee.
Can the community work incentive coordinator help me get or increase my disability benefits?
No. The Social Security Administration has funded and trained the community work incentive coordinator to help you use the work incentives and make an informed choice about work. Community work incentive coordinator’s cannot help with applying for benefits or represent beneficiaries in appeals or hearings.
Can the community work incentive coordinator help me find a job?
No. The community work incentive coordinator does not provide job placement services, but they can give you information about how to get in contact with your local Vocational Rehabilitation Office or another Employment Network that provides this service.
